The Cost of Care survey is conducted either through an online questionnaire the provider completes through illumifin's ProviderHub or telephonically with illumifin staff. Following the data collection period a review and analysis of the data is conducted by the illumifin Data Analytics team. Publishing the data every March.

The Cost of Care Study is conducted annually from January 1st to December 31st of each calendar year.

Over 40,000 providers participate in our annual survey. The illumifin Provider Database is utilized to determine provider population for survey outreach. A minimum of 10 data points are collected for each rate type, care setting in every metropolitan area. There is no maximum to the number of data points collected for each rate type and care setting.

There are four types of care settings that are part of the survey each year, Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Home Care Providers, and Adult Day Care (ADC).

illumifin's Cost of Care Study strives to collect a minimum of 10 data points for each rate type within each metropolitan statistical area (MSA)

illumifin's Cost of Care Study is conducted from January 1st to December 31st of each calendar year, is depdenent upon who responds and the rates each provider submits as part of the survey.

illumifin's Cost of Care Study does not provide annual costs for home health care. Home care provider data is provided on an hourly and per visit basis.
